The Central Upper Peninsula and NMU Archives is hosting the first in a new series of events, Evening at the Archives, that will cover archival and historical topics of public interest. The Archives plans on hosting an Evening at the Archives once every semester. The first topic will cover researching family history. The event will be held on November 17th from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the Central Upper Peninsula and NMU Archives in room 126 of the Learning Resources Center. Guests will also have the chance to learn about other collections available to the public in the Archives. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Contact the Central Upper Peninsula and NMU Archives by November 15th to reserve your seat at 906/227-1225 or archives@nmu.edu.
